Yakama Nation Housing Authority (YNHA) is accepting letters of interest from
members of the Yakama Nation community to serve on the YNHA Board of
Commissioners. The affairs of the YNHA are managed by a five-person Board of
Commissioners, with oversight by the Yakama Tribal Council Loan, Extension,

Having Identified a need for transitional housing for Yakama Tribal members YNHA purchased the
Mt. Adams Apartment Complex located at 310 S. Ahtanum Avenue in Wapato. Renamed Pahto Village
The acquisition will provide 19 one-bedroom transitional housing units and an additional 20 units for homeless veterans through the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program.
The YNHA Board of Commissioners have approved the Executive Director to commence a new construction project at Georgeville. The project will include a Community Center, two four-bedroom homes and three three-bedroom homes, and related infrastructure including roads and water and sewer upgrades.
